LOW CALORIE BATATA WADA

 

INGREDIENTS:

MAIN INGREDIENTS

1. Rice flour – 4 Tablespoon
2. Boiled Potatoes – 4
3. Green paste – 1 Tablespoon
4. Mustard seeds – 1/4th Teaspoon
5. Cumin (Jeera) seeds – 1/4th Teaspoon
6. Urad (Black gram) dal – 1/4th Teaspoon
7. Turmeric powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
8. Salt:As per taste
9. Coriander for garnishing.
10. Oil for brushing.

 

 

METHOD:

1. Take 4 boiled potatoes and smash them well.
2. Now heat a vaghar/Tadka pan and add Jeera (Cumin), mustard seeds, urad (black gram) dal to it.
3. When it starts spluttering add green paste and turmeric. Roast everything for 10 secs.
4. Add this mixture to the smashed potatoes.
5. Also add salt and Coriander to it.
6. Now mix it well& make small balls of it.
7. In a bowl take rice flour, add little salt, turmeric & water to it. Whisk it well till there are no lumps left.
8. Now dip these small balls in the batter and coat them well.
9. Now heat an Appe Patra (A specialized pan)and brush it with one drop of oil.
10. Now put these dipped and coated raw balls in this Appe Patra and cover it with lid.
11. Roast from all sides till they become golden brown.
12. Let them cook properly from all sides.
13. Serve them hot with your favourite sauce or chutney.
14. Enjoy your favourite delicious recipe of Low-Calorie Batata Wada.
