LOW CALORIE CHICKEN SEEKH KEBAB

 

INGREDIENTS:

1. Turmeric - 1/4th Tea spoon 2. Sundae masala - 1/2 Tea spoon OR Chili Powder - 1/4th Tea spoon 3. Coriander - Cumin powder - 1/2 Tea spoon 4. Salt - as per taste 5. Green paste - 1/2 Tea spoon 6. Chaat masala - 1/2 Tea spoon 7. Sesame seeds - 1/2 Tea spoon 8. Oil - for brushing 9. Rice flour - 3 Table spoon 10. Onion - 2 11. Chicken Breast Kheema - 250 gm 12. Mix vegetables - As per your choice – Total 250 gm

The Mix vegetables used in this video are: 1. Cabbage - 50gm 2. Carrot - 50gm 3. Pumpkin - 50 gm 4. Bottle gourd - 50 gm 5. Boiled Potato - 2 (50 gm)

• Vegetables and chicken should be in same proportion, to cut down the calories.

 

 

METHOD:

  1. First soak all the vegetables to be used in this recipe with their intact skin into luke-warm water added with little turmeric and salt for 15-20 minutes. After 15-20 minutes are over wash them thoroughly with clean water.
  2. Now grate these vegetables properly. 
  3. Chop 2 onions.
  4. Steam these grated vegetables for 8-10 min. 
  5. Now wash Chicken Breast Kheema. 
  6. Marinate it with turmeric and salt. 
  7. Now heat a pressure pan on Hotplate/stove/Gas and add chopped onions to it and Sauté well. 
  8. Add little salt to it, so that it softens fast. 
  9. Sauté them for approx. 2 min., till they turn pinkish.
  10. Now add Marinated Chicken Kheema to this and again Sauté well. 
  11. It becomes soft and leaves water. 
  12. Give one whistle of the pressure pan and let it cool. 
  13. After opening the lid, again Sauté it well.
  14. Heat another pan on a hotplate/stove/gas and brush it with 1 drop of oil. 
  15. Add Sesame seeds, Turmeric powder and boiled Kheema to this. 
  16. Also add steamed vegetables and sauté everything well for 2-3 min. 
  17. Now add Sundae masala, Coriander-Cumin Powder, salt, green paste, Chaat masala and mix everything properly. 
  18. Add mashed potatoes to this and mix well.
  19. Roast dry, rice flour on a pan for 2 min. 
  20. Then add this roasted rice flour to this mixture and again Sauté well. 
  21. Mash all the mixture with smasher. Mix it properly and cover it with a lid for 3-5 min. 
  22. Then spread this mixture in a plate and let it cool. 
  23. Apply 1 drop of oil on your palms and make elongated rolls. Keep them in a plate. 
  24. Heat a pan. Grease it with 1 drop of oil. Roast these kebabs on medium flame. Turn them from all the sides, till they turn golden brown. 

OR

  1. You can bake them in an Air fryer at 180 degrees for 10 min. 
  2. Serve them hot with your favorite sauce. 
  3. Enjoy your Chicken Seekh Kebab.
