ONION JOWAR (JWARI) DOSA
• MAIN INGREDIENTS:
1. Jowar (Jwari) Flour: 1 cup
2. Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
3. Green chilly: 1 (finely chopped)
4. Coriander: 1/2 bowl
5. Water: As required
6. Salt: As per taste
In a mixing bowl add Jowar (Jwari) flour, salt and add water to it slowly.
Stir it continuously to avoid formation lumps.
Now add chopped green chili, onion and Coriander to this mixture.
Make a smooth batter (There should be no lumps). It should be neither too thick nor too flowy.
Now heat a tawa on hotplate/stove or gas burner as per availability and choice.
Grease it with one drop of oil.
Once Tawa is hot, pour one ladle of this batter on to it and spread it evenly.
Cover it with lid for 30 secs.
Now either flip it to roast it from both the sides, or can be eaten without flipping.
Serve it immediately with your favourite Chutney /Sauce /Vegetables.
It can be a perfect option for breakfast or for tiffin. Enjoy your low calorie Jowar (Jwari) Dosa till you are content.
